SPRING ART EXHIBITION
"Variations on a Theme"
Sunday, April 6, 3 - 5 pm Free
Featuring in the Artist's Quarter: the Pastels of Jane Chilton.
Come meet the artists and hear them speak about their work and vision.
Refreshments provided.

POETRY CHA-CHA
Saturday, April 12, 6 pm $12
Presented by the El Morro Area Poetry Group. An evening of original poetry readings,
A Gourmet Burrito Bar prepared by Maqui, Open Mic for comedians, door prizes and more! Come help celebrate National Poetry Month.
Proceeds to EMAAC youth programs.

ANNUAL EARTH DAY YARD SALE
and Clean-Up

Saturday, April 19, 10 am - 2 pm Free
The 4th annual school-yard sale will be the best of all possible worlds. You get rid of stuff you don't want, we sell it to people who want it, and proceeds go to EMAAC. Baked goods and hot dogs for sale. Come help spruce up the Gallery grounds and our mile of NM 53. Deliver donated items at 8:30 on the 19th or call the Gallery to arrange for pick up and/or storage.

PRETEND 2 BELIEVE
Concert

Saturday, April 26, 7 pm $5
A Hardcore Punk band formed eight months ago by three guys who eat, sleep and bleed music. Their sound ranges from mellow acoustic to thrashing drum beats, guitar and screaming vocals. So if you want to come out and start a revolution or just have a good time, join them for this concert to benefit EMAAC.

BIRDS of EL MORRO
With C.J. Grimes
Sunday, April 27, 2 pm $3
Bring binoculars and field guide and learn about our great variety of birds from local bird expert C.J. Grimes. He will share tips on bird identification, places to see them and how to attract them to your yard.

WORKSHOPS

A FOOL'S JOURNEY:
Tarot with Red Wulf Dancing Bare

Tuesdays, April 1, 8, 22, 29 6 to 10 pm $5 plus donation
Continued from March workshops. We'll look at traditional and non-traditional interpretations of the tarot, and experience techniques to gain trust in intuitive knowing such as guided meditation, journaling, and drumming. Red Wulf has been a counselor and teacher of healing methods for over 20 years. Regular attendance recommended but not necessary. Contact Red Wulf at 505-783-4002 for more information.

VISUAL JOURNALS
Saturday, April 26, 2 to 5 pm Free
A creative experience integrating visual and written forms, using a variety of techniques. Led by Carol Casady. Call the Gallery for more information

READERS' THEATRE

Come and read a part or just listen. Scripts provided. Plays chosen each meeting

Fridays from 3:00 to 4:00 pm. Free.
Arts and crafts, storytelling and more for your younger children.

DANCE FOR KIDS OF ALL AGES
Fridays, April 25 thru May 30, 4:30 to 5:30 pm. $5 for April/$20 for May.
Felicia Samson teaches a mixture of ballet, jazz, tap, modern and cultural dance.

TAI CHI with REED

LITTLE COLORADO PROJECT MEETING
Friday, April 18, 7 pm
The 4th meeting at the Gallery for the Little Colorado River Valley National Heritage Area
Project. The draft feasibility study and legislation will be available for input and comments.
Everyone welcome, even if you have not previously attended. Refreshments served.


MEDITERRANEAN DINNER
at the ANCIENT WAY CAFE
